Is Because free?
Yes. Without an account you get 5 answers to try it, then 3 every day. A free account gives 5 answers every day plus saved answers on all your devices. Nothing expires; you can stay free for ever.
What does "the better model" mean?
Because runs on Anthropic's Claude models. The free tiers use the fast model for English and the better one for other languages; Premium uses the better model for everything; Plus hands hard questions to the most capable model; Ultra uses the most capable model for every answer. On simple questions the difference is small — on subtle ones it shows.
What happens at the daily limit?
Because tells you, and your answers come back at midnight in your local time. Ultra never hits a wall: after 40 answers from the top model, the day continues on the standard model.
Can I cancel? Do I get a refund?
Cancel any time from the Account screen — your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If you are in the EU or UK, you have the legal right to withdraw within 14 days of a purchase; write to [email protected]. See the terms for details.
How do I pay?
On the web, by card through Stripe. We never see your card number. Invoices and receipts are available from the Account screen under Manage subscription.
